Clear about your data

Decisage processes only the data needed to operate the decision aid, limit abuse and receive voluntary feedback.

Who is responsible

Decisage is responsible for processing within this website. You can reach the administrator through the feedback form; contact details are optional there.

Data that is processed

The decision aid processes your question, options, answers, considerations and result. The service also uses pseudonymous session and visitor identifiers. The IP address associated with a decision session is visible in protected administration and has the same 30-day retention period. The separate daily usage counter stores only a secret, irreversible hash of the IP address.

Why this data is needed

This data is needed to build your comparison, restore it after a reload, enforce the daily usage limit, secure the service and investigate problems. Voluntary feedback is used only to improve Decisage and, where appropriate, respond.

AI processing

Your input may be sent to the configured AI provider to create questions and comparisons. This processing is for the decision aid, not advertising targeting. Do not share information that is not needed for your decision.

Retention periods

Decision sessions are periodically deleted automatically once they are more than 30 days old. Feedback and optional contact details are kept only as long as needed to handle the message and improve the service.

Cookies and local storage

Necessary, secure cookies remember your session, protect the usage limit and save your advertising preference. Advertising cookies or similar storage are used by advertising partners only in line with the choices in the certified consent message.

Advertisements and your decision

Advertisements are voluntary. Without permission, the decision aid remains available and Decisage does not load ad placements. If you allow advertisements, your actual question, answers, options and result are not sent to advertising partners. Decisage additionally suppresses ads for sensitive topics.

Change your preference

Advertising preferences at the bottom of every page lets you switch advertisements on or off later. Google's consent message separately offers do not consent, consent and manage options for individual advertising purposes and partners.

Your privacy rights

You can use the feedback form to ask questions or request access, correction or deletion. Include only the information needed to handle your request.
